Here he is with Mommy Anita - wide awake for once! He pleasantly watched us eat our lunch, then wanted to play a bit. He's doing a great job of holding his head steady and really likes to stand up (with help, of course!) and feel his weight on his toes. 
Such a charmer - he had two elderly ladies in the restaurant just tranfixed as they tried to figure out how old he is. Who loves ya, baby?
It's been such a wonderful holiday season this year, seeing family and friends despite the white Christmas! God has blessed us all with good health and good friends. Here are a few shots of our last gathering, lots of love and laughter surrounding our children, grandchildren and niece/nephews. 2009 is here at last and we can close the door on 2008! Our year ended in a flurry... of snow and of activity! We have been able to get together with most of the family - and those we've missed will be gathering soon.
